I have only lived in Grantsville for a little less than 4 months. I truly enjoy it! The schools have been great for my girls, the beauty of the mountains on all sides of us is constantly stopping me in my tracks so I can take it in, and the people have been very friendly. The only issue that I have found is that there are not sidewalks for my kids to walk to school which seems odd to me.

fun small town and community. Grantsville by far is the best town of tooele county. Currently not as busy or fast growing. We are building new neighborhoods but nothing like tooele and stansbury 100's of houses going up each week. The city government will not approve new housing communities till one stage is completely finished. This makes it to where we are still growing just not out of control.
Grantsville isn't really a horrendous place; if you don't mind a harshly conservative outlook on life. Given my lifestyle, I was afraid for my health on more than one occasion. There isn't much to do exclusively in town, but it's a short drive to the mountains for hikes and tons of trails for four-wheeling or dirt-biking. Overall, below average.
