Grantsville isn't really a horrendous place; if you don't mind a harshly conservative outlook on life. Given my lifestyle, I was afraid for my health on more than one occasion. There isn't much to do exclusively in town, but it's a short drive to the mountains for hikes and tons of trails for four-wheeling or dirt-biking. Overall, below average.

Grantsville is a really nice small town with quick and easy access to mountains for hiking, camping, fishing and rock climbing. It has beautiful winters however it is a small town and has a small town feel. If you are not originally from here you might be treated a little differently however it is overall a nice place to live.
The population in this town is small and therefore not much crime occurs. There aren't very many active police patrolling the streets at one time, but they do patrol areas where speeding and other traffic violations are prominent.
