Very diverse, schools are great. Plenty of things for everyone to do!
Not too far from the city. But far enough where you can feel a little bit like being in the country or not!

The weather in my area definitely has four seasons. Summer is the shortest and I wish that was not the case. Summer is never the same and neither is winter. It is unpredictable. Sometimes we can have a cool summer, other summers maybe unbearably hot. Winter is usually cold and snowy of course this year has been quite different. We did not have a white Christmas as most of us are used to. Mother nature has been very nice so far this year. It has been nice enough to just wear a light to medium weight jacket, which is normally unheard of.
I feel very safe in the village of Gurnee. There might be a few times here and there where I find feel my general safety is in jeopardy; however, most of the time I travel in groups.
