Grand Prairie is a beautiful urban city to live in. It is affordable with lots of attractions, restaurants, parks, shopping centers and more! The city of Grand Prairie is near other cities within the metroplex. The drive is will not take long at all to get to a restaurant, shopping center, or etc. Also, a fun fact about Grand Prairie is that something new is being built all the time to modernize it up! For example, a new senior citizen home, indoor waterpark, and fitness center were just built over the past year that everyone loves. A new, modernized police station was just built as well. There is nothing to fear with the Grand Prairie police department on guard at all times! Do not doubt my city. If you were to visit, we would welcome you with open arms.

Grand Prairie is no Dallas but it's not a wild west town. This city is unique is its very own way. I love the events that go on in our city and the places we can go to. We have an indoor water park for all the seasons, a multi-purpose facility, and of course more restaurants! Who doesn't love food right? Every summer we have our indoor water park ready to go. And in the winter we have our Prairie Lights, which is a slow drive of lights of Christmas and joy. Our departments work close with our city council and I can tell that they want to make Grand Prairie a home to its residents. Grand Prairie may not have a lot of destinations at midnight but its rather the people that you have. Grand Prairie is a hidden gem filled with good folks, fun personalities, and bright smiles that make want say "one more night".
A small town country feel. There are fun things for the children; like the ne.w Epic waters. A recreation center for seniors which includes; indoor track, and pool. There are beautiful parks and walking tracks. The farmer's market is located in the small, but beautiful town of Grand Prairie. Joe Pool lake is another park that is a location where families can have loads of fun; swimming, hiking, grilling, fishing, etc. It's all about family! We could use a few more restaurants in our city.
