I've lived in Grand Island all my life, compared to surrounding towns I love what we have to offer here. I love the atmosphere and the pride the people in this town possess. The only issue I encountered growing up was that there was never much to do. Sure, we have parks and lakes, but a change would be greatly beneficial, not just for kids but for anyone of all ages! Although I do not know what is in store for me in the future I do know Grand Island will always be home.

It's a great town. At times it seems like there is nothing to do for teens, but it's an up-and-coming town. There are tons of restaurants! The Nebraska State Fair calls its home Grand Island so that's something fun. I see myself coming to GI after college and starting a family here.
Grand Island isn't exactly the most well known of towns in Nebraska, but many would agree it is financially beneficial and the job market flourishes well here as we receive residents from all over the nation coming here for a job opportunity. The nightlife is fairly good if you know the right spots but the town overall could use improvement.
