Granby Reviews
Rating 3.91 out of 5 46 reviews
I love living in Granby. Fair warning it is a small town with no night life and the stores close early. The schools are great, I have two young children and we've been very impressed with their teachers. Lots of local hiking and outdoor opportunities all around and many local farms for produce and homemade goodies! The taxes are very high, hoping it will level out soon enough.
A lot of farmland. Small community, tightly-knit. Many small businesses who enjoy supporting our students and our community. Beautiful scenery everywhere, very peaceful.
Residing in Granby was a wise decision. It is a glorious suburb for anyone to own a home in Hartford County. It is not too far from the nightlife and offers access to many peaceful trails for nature-lovers. It is not a lonely community. The town has a little something for everyone. Local and family-owned restaurants populate the core. Crime rate is remarkably lower than average. Granby is a friendly place to build a future. I would say it has great potential to welcoming people from many diverse cultures and backgrounds.
