Granby is beautiful and friendly! It’s a wonderful place to raise kids, or go on nature walks or to meet new friends. There are many delicious places to eat and it’s close to West Hartford for more night life.

Granby is a nice, quiet little town for people who want to live somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. There is not much to do, but hiking and horseback riding are "popular" pastimes. The highway route running through the small town, Route 10, rather congests traffic for residents at many times during the week, and the road system could use quite a few improvements. I am very biased in saying that I like Granby, as I was born and raised in the town. However, lack of safety is not a very large concern, and the public school system is apparently better than many places throughout the Northeastern region. The cost of living is very high, and Granby is a slightly less than satisfactory place to live overall.
A great place to start a family. A great school system with more than enough safety. Coffee shops, Bagel places, and health food stores shine during the day but nothing good ever happens at night. A tight knit community with a devotion to fitness and well being.
