Granbury is so special. It’s small—but yet close enough to DFW if you’re looking for some higher end shopping and dining.
Granbury is such a neat little Texas town! It is chalk full of activities for all ages. It is best known for the fun adventures on the lake and the square. The square offers people a chance to socialize, dine, and shop! The opera house was established in 1886 and is one of the main attractions of the square. Just off of the square is the Granbury city park and beach. The Brazos river runs throughout the entire town. Boating on a hot summer day never disappoints! Throughout the year, Granbury has many celebrations such as General Granbury’s birthday, 4th of July, and other holidays.
Granbury is an excellent town about an hour away from Fort Worth. Community is very helpful and nice. The historic downtown is incredibly awesome as will. Would not change anything about it.
It's a great retirement town that's recently been expanding rapidly with new places opening up everywhere. The nightlife is very peaceful and the surrounding area is very safe.
Great small town with a family friendly environment. Cool waterfront and amazing high school. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more relaxed environment.
Loved the people's attitudes in general. From the taco bell to the steak house everyone was always positive and nice.
I have lived here my whole life and I just absolutely love it. There's a limited amount of stuff to do here but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
