Goshen Township Reviews
I want a stronger support for those interested in visual and cultural arts. This farming community needs to experience more outside their township. As a student interested in theater, I wasn't as educated in the arts that could've better prepared me for college studies. This is also true of musical studies. The arts are very important in keeping students of all ages busy and introduced new education.
I have lived in Goshen all of my life and also attended their schools. I also have put my 6 children through the schools as well as having a granddaughter beginning Kindergarten in 2018 in Goshen. Goshen to me is a small country, friendly town where most everyone knows everyone, it is increasingly creating activities for the young children/teenagers to do in helping to keep them drugfree. Everyone in the community supports each other in the good times as well as the bad. The community will come together and work together to help others.
Goshen is a very small, close community with a wonderful school district. I'm a sophomore in college and made the decision to live at home and commute to a nearby campus. With this being said, I have always felt safe living in Goshen. There's a police station literally right down the street from the high school. Not much goes on around here and all that the town really consists of are a few UDF gas stations, a Skyline (um, yum!), and a grocery store. If you're looking for places to work or things to do, you'll venture outside of Goshen. The community is also nice and quiet and everyone I run in to is very welcoming and friendly.
