Goshen Reviews
Rating 4.67 out of 5 3 reviews
Wonderful small town. Have lived here for 14 years. Very peaceful, very scenic. Beautiful in the summer and fall. Never a concern about safety or security. The long serving town selectman does an excellent job of keeping this town in tip-top shape. It’s a good location, about half-way between New York and Boston. You can get to supermarkets and some stores in a reasonable amount of time. Some great family owned restaurants in the area. Beware, though.....if you don’t like cold, snowy winters, this might not be the place for you.
Goshen is where you live if you want quiet neighborhoods, fresh air, and gorgeous outdoor spaces. There's an excellent school system, and the Goshen fairgrounds provide everything from the annual town fair to concerts to hot air balloon festivals. There's no nightlife to speak of, but several neighboring towns provide options that are just a short drive away. Overall, Goshen is an idyllic place to live if you're looking for a safe, welcoming hometown.
Great small town located close to larger cities for shopping and services. Town does excellent job of keeping cost down with out letting schools or infrastructure suffer.
