I go to school at USM and I like walking into Gorham. There's good resources for college students downtown like Burger King, Hannafords, Rite Aid, Goodwill, and more. I like the Aroma Joes and Subway. There's also a nail place and a tanning place. I didn't go through the school system of Gorham, but I've heard that it isn't that bad!

We are close to the lake and close to all the shopping and services (state of the art medical) in Portland and South Portland. Love Whole Foods and Trader Joes being a hop skip and a jump away!
I have lived in Gorham my entire life. Gorham feels like a very safe and nice community, and everyone is very friendly. I can't imagine living in any other town. The atmosphere is welcoming, and all shops in town give it an even better small town feeling. USM being nearby also gives it a nicer feeling, allowing easier access for students taking harder classes or for local people wanting to participate in the college activities.
