This is a good residential area, although it's growing a little too quickly, like much of Berkeley County. It is an increasingly diverse community, with wealthy, middle-class, lower-income neighborhoods. The population includes white people, black people, multi-racial, Brazilian, Mexican, Filipino, and other nationalities.

Sustainable growth is an issue that the leadership is trying to deal with, but while there are lots of neighborhoods, storage facilities, and fast food restaurants, there are not many sit-down restaurants. Traffic is quickly becoming an issue, especially to those who came here when it was just a sleepy little town about 20 years ago.

The Goose Creek environment makes you feel like you are home. Nice, quiet area where you see families enjoying themselves. Great schools are in the area from elementary all the way to High school. Never go hungry with grocery stores are around and also a mix of different types of fast food. So many places that are hiring and looking for individuals that are looking for a job. Neighbors always greet each other no matter night or day. Not many trouble in the area but the safety from the Goose Creek officers makes sure the town is all in good hands.
