Crime & Safety
I'm a junior at Goodrich High School, and have lived in Goodrich for almost 6 years. As a fairly small village, Goodrich has obvious positive and negative attributes. It is easy to get to know a lot of people, whether old or young. The schools are very good, and are very friendly to new students (again due to the small size.) There is a distinct lack of fast foods, having only Subway in town, but we have a few restaurants like John's Pizzaria or Smokin Joes. A nice positive about Goodrich is you get the small town feel with the perks of a larger town, since Goodrich is next to Davison and Grand Blanc. A downside is that property in Goodrich tends to be hard to come by and expensive.
Beautiful, small, country town where everyone knows everyone. Super friendly, close to great hospital. Excellent school system
Nice little town. Used to be more country than what it is now but still not bad. It is nice to actually know all of your neighbors and feel safe around town. The school systems used to be excellent, now have been noticing a slight dissatisfaction in my personal preferences. Lots of sports for kids to get involved in but the school system got rid of some of the best teachers we had.
