Golden Valley is a wondering small suburb within the Twin Cities. The valley has so much to offer in its prime location such as, healthcare, recreational bike trails, and close by stores! My overall experience living in Golden Valley has been nothing but good vibes, from my neighbors to the nearby huge parks Golden Valley has alot to offer. I enjoy roller blading down Theo Wirth Park Trail during the good weathered days and enjoy relaxing indoors with my pets and family during the long winter season. If I could change anything about Golden Valley, I would ask for more sidewalks on both side of the streets.
New families, old folks, and empty-nesters. This suburban city is one that is close enough to minnepaolis that commutes are a breeze, but far enough that crime is virtually unheard of and kept under tight control. With General Mills headquarters, Kare 11 news, and well as various think-tank companies within the area, the city has an obligation to keep things spic and span. The Three-Rivers Park Luce Line Trail runs right through the city and can be taken either to Theodore Worth Park in Minneapolis or out west towards the Minnesota
State Regional Trail. Nearby Medicine lake is a wonderful place to suntan or let the kids play and is fun to fish. While shopping is not really a thing in this city, there are a selection of restuarants and a few locally owned boutiques that lift up the area. Overall, this city is a fantastic place to move if you are ready to settle because, more then likely, you will have a hard time finding anything else quite like it.

Golden Valley is a very welcoming and kind environment to be apart of. Walking on the street most people say hi and engage with each other. The one thing Golden Valley could use is more diversity. While everyone is usual treated with kindness no matter who they are from what I've seen, Golden Valley could be more diverse.
