Golden Gate is a small city located just outside of Naples, Florida. Though much of my time is spent in Naples, my home is located in Golden Gate. They are often compared; Golden Gate is a lower income city than Naples. Despite this, it has provided my family, friends and I a safe area for our homes. Golden Gate is diverse, with the community consisting of various cultures from around the world. I did not attend the school system in Golden Gate for very long, as my family would make the decision to have me attend schools in Naples, but I know that Golden Gate has a wonderful educational system which does everything in its capacity to help its students in need. Despite how this small city may be perceived, it holds a strong community which cares for each and every one of its members.
I have lived in Golden Gate all my life, and I believe that we have a bad reputation that we do not deserve. We are seen as ghetto, but I feel that we are a great community. Our community comes together every weekend to sell food and goods. One thing that I would change about Golden Gate is that there are more sidewalks so that it is less dangerous to walk home from school.
My experience living here is marvelous, there are parks near by to go walk, the beach is 15 minutes away, the community is so silent and there are no dangers around. I have lived here all my life and I can say that every one is so nice.
I like that in Golden Gate you can be diverse. This is such a small town everyone knows everyone. Everyone gets along and helps each other out.
Living in Golden Gate is actually extremely pleasant. There is a lot of diversity and can allows notice new things that go around.
A low-income community, filled with several food options and businesses. The streets are fairly safe and has bus stops within the area for those taking public transit. Schools have technology provided for students to use while in school.
Been living in Golden Gate for 9 years now. It is overpriced and not much night life here but a great city to live in for safety and education. The population is mainly elderly with the common people being Caucasian, Haitian, and Mexican.
I like that Golden Gate is very safe and secure and it offers various opportunities for school and jobs. I also like that it is very close to the beach, and it is a good distance away from tourist destinations such as the Florida Keys, Tampa, and Orlando. Golden Gate offers many diverse dining opportunities ranging from fast-food to expensive dinners on the beach. Furthermore, it offers many different recreational activities such as water parks, movie theaters, and a nearby ice-skating rink.
I grew up in Golden Gate my whole entire life and I had no problem with it. It's a small town but there's a lot you can do such as going to parks, shopping, and eating at restaurants. Overall, Golden Gate is a good place to live. Not to mention, the environment just seems so friendly, and the sunsets are amazing.
I think it's pretty safe for the most part. I feel safe about 90% of the time, there have been a few incidents here and there, but it's rare.
It's a peaceful place to live. However, there isn't much to do for young people. There isn't much of a night life. It also isn't an easy place to make friends because there is a lot of older people living in this area.
I mean it's pretty good living there. I've been to different places outside of I'd say I like Naples way better. 80 percent people that lives here are old people and I personally think it's a good place for school because of less distractions. You get to focus more in school.
Our town has the stereotype of having no crime ever and when there is a crime it is usually a very petty crime. The cops are always on duty and respond immediately. Every school in our district also has police officers assigned to schools.
For the most part the community where i live is safe. Since there are a lot of older people in the area, places tends to close early.
The Apartments were OK for my first apartment on my own. Rent was not bad specialty for it begin Naples. Leasing place was not helpful when it came to if something is wrong in the apartment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
its to boring for younger generations, not much to do
