Overall, it's pretty nice to live here, it's just that there's not much to do in Gold River itself--there's plenty things to do outside the neighborhood, and it's relatively close to stores and whatnot, but everything is usually 10 minutes away, if not further. Nice place, though.
It was a great place to grow up. Bustling with with young families centered around an elementary school. Currently, the housing has skyrocketed and the average age of a resident has gone up considerably. It has bike trails to the river that you can explore daily.
Not all villages are equal. The cost can depend on a lot of factors like association etc, which can be such a headache to work with. I love my neighborhood without the association and have such friendly neighbors. I know Gold River in general is not the most diverse but I find my neighborhood area is, and there are lots of friendly people.
