Glenwood Springs Reviews
Rating 4.5 out of 5 36 reviews
Glenwood Springs, CO is one of the most amazing places to live! There's always something to do. From the amusement park on the mountain to the ski area, there are many activities to partake in each season. Beautiful mountains surround Glenwood Springs, and the Colorado and Roaring Fork River flow through it, making it one of Colorado's most scenic places to live. There are about 10,000 people living there; many of them have grown up in Glenwood, seeing that there's no better place to be.
I really enjoy the community and foundation of care that Glenwood Springs has to offer. There are numerous events that take place allowing community members to connect with one another and get involved. One of the events that is vital to the town of Glenwood Springs is Strawberry Days which takes place at the beginning of June annually. This event consists of a flea market in the park, a parade, and on the other side of town awaits adventure and thrilling rides. Definitely something that makes Glenwood Springs popular and exciting.
There are so many outdoor activities to do here. It is the perfect place to go hiking, bike riding, or enjoy the hot springs. There is a few nightlife activities, but not a lot. I would recommend researching things you can/want to do before visiting or your visit might be stressful. Aspen and Vail are nearby for skiing as well. Overall it is a beautiful place to live, but can be expensive. The on-season does get way busier them the off-season as well.
