Life isn’t too bad here, definitely not above a C grade though. Living here I’ve seen people who were close to me get really rough around the edges and there usually just seems to be nonstop drama, like you walk, talk, or just are a certain way, it gets concocted that you “have the hots for a guys wife or kids”, yada yada. If you come here just keep yourself to yourself is the best advice I have, and don’t let none of the street fools keep you from being 100 grand or whatevs. As long as you’re able to make life here your own, why should you let anyone screw up your day? Don’t! Positives here is it’s cheaper than a lot of areas though that means pay is almost abysmal as well as average decent jobs. I came here and have managed ok because I needed someplace to start in life with a curve to it, and I mean if you’re that type, don’t feel bad about it, enjoy the single life, maybe attend Glendale Community College, and have at life!

I am a student at one of the high schools in Glendale and love how easy my commute to school is each day. Overall there are so many cute shops and corners especially with the mall being so close by and the numerous other activities. The neighborhoods are extremely safe and the schools are top notch in the districts surrounding Glendale. Skunk creek runs through Glendale and is a great place to go in family bike rides or even walking the dog at night. Parks are in abundance in Glendale and offer a healthy activity for kids to partake in. Keep an eye out for local farmers markets or local activities because there are many if them! If you are looking at moving to Arizona, make sure to keep Glendale on your list.
I lived in Glendale while attending Glendale Community College for one year. It was my first experience living in the city and I did not find that it was a negative experience. While living in a big city comes with risks naturally, I did not find that Glendale was particularly dangerous. There are several job opportunities, restaurants, schools, and parks. All ranging from poor to excellent service. There was always people walking the sidewalks which gave Glendale a friendly aura. The community that supported the college there was incredible, especially with the sports teams involved with the college. Glendale is located near several professional sports teams arenas which attracts people near and far. You can always find something to do in and around Glendale.
