I like that my neighbors are welcoming and the environment here is just so accepting! Currently, I am a high school student and I live about 5 miles away from my school. This gives me easy access to my school. There is also a bit of diversity here. I have friends who are from China, Korea, Hispanic, etc. As for the neighborhood, my neighborhood is a calm one. Majority of the families have kids, therefore, there will be plenty of children outside playing when the weather allows it, but they are also well behaved. There is a sense of safety here because the neighborhood gives off a peaceful vibe in general. All in all, I love this place!

I love Glen Allen! I've lived here my entire life and I have never felt unsafe or in danger while living here. It is a good location since it is close to downtown Richmond and Carytown. There are great restaurants and lots of things to do. I love going to the parks in Glen Allen, especially Crump Park. It is a central location and never too far away to anything. It is right near Short Pump - a great place for shopping. I would love to live in Glen Allen for a very long time.
I love the overall atmosphere of Glen Allen. There is a happy medium of quiet neighborhoods and busy shopping centers. Grocery stores and gas stations are right around the corner, but residential areas are quiet and family-friendly. My husband and I moved from the busy city of Richmond to the suburbs of Glen Allen in 2016 and we are so glad we did! We get to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city which is a quick 20 minute drive away, however, we are also able to retreat to our quiet backyard and enjoy the peacefulness.
