More community support in the town would be nice, and more employment opportunities! A lot of people around this area are turning to drugs to cope with life issues. Honestly just needs to be better law enforcement in this area.

I like that you get to know more people because it is a small town. I like that it is a blue collar town. The annual Festival feels almost like a family reunion. I wish it had more business, but Girard lost a lot of jobs when the coal mines closed.
