Great place for anyone who likes small friendly communities. Nice park(s) for children to play!! The school district is very interactive with you the students an they have great coaches for the sports. It's a quite town. A small eating establishment named Rebas. Great place for big loving families to eat out at. Pizza, subs, salads, alot of delicious food!! Buccee gas station is always clean an they have wide variety of things in store, great!! Crushed ice!!!

Growing up in a small town like Giddings has definitely had its positives as well as negatives. Some things that I enjoyed was the small town hospitality, where everyone knows and supports each other. Having that connection with fellow peers is something really special.
Small town with small town feel. We've got local stores and many restaurants. It's one of those towns you drive through but never really stop at. It has a pretty well known high school in the area.
