Before we even moved into our condo, our neighbors greeted us and were very friendly. When we finally started moving in, they offered us help and informed us of services in the area. They have been non-stop very nice and accommodating. Everyone is out to take care of each other and make sure we all live in a safe neighborhood.

Germantown is a great place to live with great schools, great parks, and generally just great people. The only downside of Germantown is how expensive it is, but sometimes quality is worth paying extra for.
Overall, Germantown is a nice area to live in. Our children attend the schools and are doing very well. It is considered a safe suburban area to raise children and the police do a great job in being proactive and keeping the community informed about trends in incidents and how to avoid them. There are a number of community events, plus Germantown is close to Milwaukee and other areas, so there is access to whatever activities you are interested in. Germantown itself is fairly quiet. It does not have a night life. I am not a night owl, so this does not bother me at all.
