Overall, Germantown is a nice area to live in. Our children attend the schools and are doing very well. It is considered a safe suburban area to raise children and the police do a great job in being proactive and keeping the community informed about trends in incidents and how to avoid them. There are a number of community events, plus Germantown is close to Milwaukee and other areas, so there is access to whatever activities you are interested in. Germantown itself is fairly quiet. It does not have a night life. I am not a night owl, so this does not bother me at all.

Germantown Wisconsin is a great community to raise a family. Growing up here, I had so many wonderful experiences. Germantown has that special, small town feel. Yet, it's only minutes away from the city and lakefront of Milwaukee. Germantown has great schools, numerous parks, churches, and festivals. I highly recommend this little community.
Germantown is a close knit town with lots to offer. Country living, but close to Milwaukee and the faster paced city life!
