I enjoy living in a clean and safe environment near two majorly high rated schools(Houston middle and high school) I love the community service opportunities that come from joining the Germantown Kiwanis club as well. The food and hospitality of locals are superb and heartening and I thoroughly enjoy community events such as Memphis in May. There is always something to do or participate in whether it be watching a performance at the GPAC or running in a local weekly 5K. This city truly has so much to offer! If you haven’t already stop by for the delicious southern BBQ at the very least!

Germantown is a fast growing suburb of Memphis. The community is constantly evolving. The population is growing yearly, and new businesses are constantly coming into the area!
This is a great community, best around, one of the best in TN. Regarding the schools ranking, it is very misleading, meaning the B- grade. If you consider the public schools in the Germantown Municipal School District, which is the school district for the community, all of those schools are A and above. Only when you include area Shelby County schools do you see the significant decline.
