It is small and quiet. This is purely a residential area in rural California. The dogs and cats roam free and you can walk in the street, well... you kind of have to since there are no sidewalks. I talk with all my neighbors and wave to those I see on my walks. There are some mess properties that seem to be collecting a lot of things. There is one small park that is pretty OK; better than nothing.

There isn't anything interesting in this small area, but it's a nice neighborhood with friendly people.
The local businesses are pretty great for how small the town of Gerber even though there aren't really any businesses, but most of the owners of the few businesses we have are very friendly.
