Georgetown Charter Township Reviews
I personally love where I live. It is a friendly and wonderful community to grow up in and raise a family in. I am choosing to pursue my education further around here so I can move back to this area. The school system here is one of the finest in the state and they really put a much needed emphasis on the arts. This area is also great to move into if you are a Christian. There are so many wonderful church families to get involved in, which adds to the family feel of the area.
The location is great because it is right next to Grand Valley's campus and it was very convenient to be able to walk to class. If you didn't feel like walking to class, my apartment complex had their own shuttle system that runs until 3pm to transport students to Grand Valley's campus. The area overall was very clean, the people were friendly, and I felt safe in this area. I would live here again if the rates didn't go up. However, there has been a lot of expansion from apartments, to town homes to cottages, which keeps the area popular. Overall, it was a very good place to live.
I love where I live. I enjoy the peace and quiet, but I also enjoy that I still have neighbors close by. I love being surrounded by trees and being able to view the wildlife everyday. The animals out here are so different than the ones where I used to live. I like the fact that deer just walk across my yard and I can see them laying in my back yard in the ravines whenever I want. I love being close to my college campus and work is close too.
