The town of Geneseo is an area where people can be friendly. Its very family oriented and full of college students. Its way more affordable than New York city and its quiet. The night life is not that exciting and that is coming from a 20 year old college student, my self. Its only exciting if you make it. The stores are cheap BUT! THEY close early! Restaurants might close at 5 or 6..possibly 7pm.

Geneseo can be a very kind, unique, and happy place. There is a very tight knit atmosphere and a lot of small town events. However, because the town is so small, it can be difficult to access a lot of resources especially because our public transportation is almost nonexistent. Additionally, it is not a very inclusive or inviting space for minorities and marginalized groups.
I have loved my experience with Geneseo. However, with more low-income housing being established, the landscape and population is definitely changing. The schools are getting larger, and the environment feels less safe lately.
