Gatlinburg Reviews
Rating 3.7 out of 5 40 reviews
We took a motorcycle trip down to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for Rod Run. We had a blast, honestly, with the beautiful views, quiet cabin, delicious food and fun car show! Some more obnoxious folks try to ruin it for everyone but we managed to avoid those people for the most part. The one downfall is the lack of motorcycle parking in Gatlinburg. I don’t mean just parking specific to motorcycles, which you can only find (2 spots) in front of a parking garage near the Harley store. Most of the paid parking areas have a strict “no motorcycles” rule due to the danger of the gates coming down and hitting a rider. Riding around in traffic is bad enough, but not being allowed into the parking lots puts a big damper on the trip.
We took the drive through to Cherokee, North Carolina which I recommend for any rider or driver, it’s easily the prettiest sight I’ve ever seen.

Gatlinburg is a town that continues to grow with the times. Although it can be quite expensive, it still is a very family-like town. Gatlinburg has been home to my family since I turned one years old. I loved growing up right in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and seeing the wildlife surround me. Gatlinburg has a wonderful nightlife and leads into the bigger cities of Sevier County. I overall rate Gatlinburg a 8/10.
Gatlinburg is a quaint little mountain town nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. It is primarily a tourists town bringing in visitors from all over the world to visit the National Park. Gatlinburg is safe, thriving, affordable and clean. It is the perfect little place to raise a family, operate a business, or just plan a vacation.
