Living in Garner has been a great experience so far. I have been living in this area for over 13 years now. Over the recent years there has been an abundance of growth and building up the community. Especially in the White Oak area and around that specific area. Also a new community center is being built within the community, which will be a great addition to the area. Before the pandemic, we had parades, a variety of performances and a plethora of other exciting and fun activities. Garner is a great place to be right now!

Garner is a town in the Wake County, North Carolina area and is a southern suburb to Raleigh, NC. In 2018, the population of Garner was estimated to be 28,858 and is a great community within the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 13.8 square miles and the incorporated area of the town is located entirely within Wake County with partial unincorporated portions extending into northern Johnston County.
It's a small town that has grown into a small city. It's growing by the minute.I have lived hear for almost 10 years and have always loved it. It's not to big and not to small. There's a lot of shopping centers being put up and the neighboring town of Clayton and Fuquay Varina are getting bigger by the minute as well. Sports for kids is really big around and Football especially at the local high schools are very competitive. They have even built another high school. I live in Westchester Apartment community and have lived here for over four years. I feel very safe because the Garner Police department is right across the street from my apartment. Also the public library is too, so if my children ever need help from them it's just a stroll across the street. Also the state capitol is literally a ten minute drive away. It's good being beside Raleigh and not in the hustle and bustle of a big city. Garner is perfect for me and my children.
