Small town, plenty of individually owned businesses and shops to stay local, beautiful scenery, and experiences four seasons. After high school graduation, the area is rather limited in recreational activities for the young adult age group.

Crimes are infrequent in the area, causing the patrolling of police to be minimal.
Our area, centered in Corning, has events (WineGlass Marathon, Gus Macker Tournament, Race for the Cure, etc.) that bring the community together. Most people who live here now have lived here for the majority of their lives.
