Working in Gallatin
I have been a resident of Gallatin for a little over 5 years now and my experience here has been excellent! It is very family friendly, and holds a supportive community. I LOVE the small businesses in The Square of Downtown Gallatin. Shopping could be improved, however, a large mall is only about a 15-20 minute drive, and I believe keeping Gallatin the way it is, will help keep it a small, quite, quaint little town, which I adore.
I love the small town feel of Gallatin. It is nice that you see people you know in town, but it's not too small. Therefore, you don't know everyone. You can easily see that the people of Gallatin are hard working. You can see that by walking into any restaurant or business. This small suburb is a nice quiet outside city of Nashville. It's a great get away from the loud, noisy Nashville. I wish that there could be more small business owned restaurants because they are always the best.
Gallatin is rated the nicest town in America by Reader's Digest- and for a good reason! When I moved here about four years ago, I couldn't help but to fall in love with the kindness and manners that everyone seemed to possess! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping places around, and the town just keeps on growing! Gallatin's town square is an amazing historic area filled with local businesses! This is an amazing town overall.
