It is a fantastic little town where everyone comes together and does terrific work. Galena is the town you want to be. The people love one another and work along with great. Galena has that vibe that you want to make this town your home. The safety here is excellent the police does everything in their power to make it as safe as can be. The school is great the teachers love what they do, and you can see that from what your children have to say. The nightlife is not big most of the people have to go to the town over to do anything at night. The job opportunities are not great because we are a little town so not that many jobs.
It's a small town where everyone knows everything. I would like to see Galena grow. There's great potential for growth. The best thing is that is a very safe rural town with the BEST Mexican restaurant in the country! The cost of living in this area is probably the lowest in the nation. The schools are great. Very small district with about 60 kids in an entire class. The community backs the kids 100% in everything. Great community support.
I love living in this area
