I absolutely loved growing up in Gahanna! It has a small town feel but isn't actually too small. There are people from every background imaginable and it gives you a chance to connect with people different from yourself. The Gahanna Public Schools are also great, there are more opportunities offered through Gahanna than majority of the schools in other Columbus suburbs.

Great community! Very diverse and family friendly with much to do. Creek-side is a main attraction with great scenery and dining. Schooling is fantastic with hard working teachers who strive to make their students better. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Columbus, there are lots of job opportunities and commute is quick and easy. Lots to do and lots to see.
My dad always had his eye on Gahanna. He thought it would be a great place to live in because they schools. They were very high leveled meaning they received good education. It was also very well taken care of. I only went to the district’s high school for a year and honestly there wasn’t a lot of diversity especially in the Hispanic category. The neighborhood is very calming though, very beautiful and welcoming. Everywhere you go, people will wave hello to you. Gahanna is very nice because they beautiful festival-like events and has a nice park that is very well taken care of. I have not run to any trouble in my neighborhood because it is very calming and gives me comfort that I am in a safe environment.
