Great community! Very diverse and family friendly with much to do. Creek-side is a main attraction with great scenery and dining. Schooling is fantastic with hard working teachers who strive to make their students better. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Columbus, there are lots of job opportunities and commute is quick and easy. Lots to do and lots to see.

I do feel safe here most of the time, and the schools are above average despite most buildings needing a lot of work. It’s pretty diverse, which I appreciate. The people could be nicer. If you get on the popular Gahanna residents online forums, home owners can be extremely rude and downright hostile about about apartment complexes being built. We are homeowners, but I find these attitudes towards renters very unwelcoming and disappointing. The infrastructure needs work. I’d also like less fast food restaurants. No “small” town needs 2 Arby’s, 3 McDonalds etc...
I love Gahanna! It has been a super nice environment for growing up. Gahanna offers plenty of food and activity options. Some areas are a bit run down, but with New Albany, Downtown, and Easton Malls close, it makes for a great environment.
