Fulshear is a very nice town, with amazing housing! I recommend for people looking for aesthetically pleasing houses/neighborhoods. Stores are also well placed and dispersed so they truly add to the town! Fulshear seems to be a hotspot for moving families, so there are amazing family-friendly places you can visit with kids! To be honest, the only problems that are present are the amount of racism that is present at the schools, especially since it has been a bit "normalized" in some of them. Other than that Fulshear is an amazing place to live in, and i recommend it to any one contemplating about moving here.
My experience in Fulshear has been amazing so far. We moved to the area with the intention of starting our family, mostly due to the beautiful homes and great Katy school district. We now have two boys and find myself a little jealous of our kids. They get to grow up in such a beautiful neighborhood with a ton of amenities. We live in Cross Creek Ranch, and it’s been amazing seeing the growth here. Many shops are popping up, and everything you need is only a 10 minute drive away. Also, the commute to Houston is reasonable, especially with access to the West Park Tollway. If you want a safe place to raise your kids, amenities, diversity, and a rural/surburban feel, Fulshear is the place to be.
Overall everyone is welcoming and is happy to have you there, but there is always that one person who is just a jerk. Our school does have an issue with drugs and vape, but the school is trying to make the issue go away. The women of the neighborhood have a Facebook page and gossip about other students and ask any questions about new things. There are a good amount of rich and snarky people in the area too.
