Fulshear was established in 1824 as a small agricultural community. Residents have long been noted for their hospitality from the early days when the local passenger train stopped at noon and several of the ladies provided a basket lunch for the train crew amenities. We have the best of both worlds: small country town living with minutes away from Houston. Crime rate is almost zero and our Police Officers are the best!

I have lived in Fulshear since I was 11 years old. My siblings and I have made friendships throughout the neighborhood that have kept throughout the years. Although there isn't much to do on a weekend, Fulshear is about 15 minutes away from Katy and 40 minutes from Houston.
Peaceful and friendly town. Small old town with a lot of history and charm. Really close to Katy and about a 30 minute drive to Houston. Main roads and interstates are easily accessible and it's easy to get around. There are tons of small, local business where you can dine and shop while supporting small businesses. Everyone is friendly, however sometimes it could be too small of a town. Very family friendly, especially if you have small children.
