Working in Fullerton
Fullerton is a very cool city. It’s more racially and economically diverse than some of the surrounding cities. The Downtown area is great for many different types of people- artists, vintage shoppers, food enthusiasts, and late night party goers! It’s an older city with some intriguing buildings but could also use more work in its infrastructure. Overall, Fullerton is a great place to live for college kids, families, and retired individuals.
The city of Fullerton has it's ups and it's downs, but it sure is 'full' of life and a myriad of it! While some say it's a college town, other's argue it's full of senior citizens; both sides of the spectrum are conducive to vivacious diversity of this spectacular historic town! The Fullerton Train Station as well as the CSUF and Downtown Fullerton area seem to be the beating hearts of the city both day and night. Only in Fullerton could seniors and college-kids live side by side and thrive happily! As a very old city, it has an actually very interesting history to which the local library has a section dedicated and even includes archived audio. I have lived in several towns in Orange and Los Angeles counties, but this is the only city I have ever felt like a community regardless of the size or population.
Downtown Fullerton has nearly everything a college student needs! Great food spots, small stores, and small parks for everyone to gather together and enjoy life.
