Sarasota, Fl is one of a kind place to live at. Its where all of the tourist, and snow birds stay because of the nice weather we have on a daily basis. Sarasota was voted to have the #1 best beach in america. Sarasota has wonderful sight seeing attractions throughout the city. Sarasota is a great place to be!

My neighborhood is very quiet and simple. The neighbors are near if you need them but you can't ever hear them and you can get by with out talking to them if that's what you prefer. It's right by the high way but you never hear it. Also, the brand new mall is right down the street (UTC) along with a big lake where there's rowing competitions that are held. Great sidewalk and park around the entire lake. Also near UTC there's the a huge shopping center with a Super Target, Michaels, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc.
Sarasota is an interesting place in that it varies dramatically in different parts of town. Certain areas have a sense of luxury and wealth, while others appear to be on the other end of the spectrum. However, overall I would say that there is a lot of wealth in Sarasota, which contributes to one of its most attractive assets- the arts. There is a rich culture here, especially downtown. However, much of the population is older, and thus things can seem to move a little slowly at times.
