Fruit Heights Reviews
Fruit Heights is a great neighborhood for raising a family. It is safe, quiet, and most of the neighbors are friendly. The current public highschool that Fruit Heights is assigned to is Davis High, which is currently ranked number 1 for Utah's best high school ranking. I would say the neighborhood is on the pricier side with most residents over 65 years old. The neighborhood is predominantly white but there has been an increase of diversity in the most recent years. Since Fruit Heights is residential, there are little to no jobs nearby. People who want to commute have to drive 10 minutes away to ride the BART train at Station Park. Overall, I would say that this is a really nice neighborhood. Even though it is on the pricer side, you do get your money's worth.
We moved to Fruit Heights a little over a year and half ago. Absolutely love it here. Yes, we live in a predominantly LDS community. Although we are not of the faith....we have been welcomed into our neighborhood. Our children are always being asked to participate in neighborhood activities. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there is just an overall sense of pride in the area. It's beautifully close to the mountains with mature trees. We are close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, lakes, quick commute to the city for Ballets, Museums, and Theater. Great schools and recreation. Neighboring Kaysville provides great small town atmosphere and events.
Amazing community! As Fruit Heights and Kaysville are of the same zip and share same ammenities it is truly an amazing place to live. You constantly feel apart and a true sense of community involvment in all aspects of life. The place where everyone waves and is invested in each other.
