It's quiet and clean! The neighborhood feels very safe, there is a strong police presence. You always see them driving around and hanging out in public spaces.

We've lived here for 4 years now (lived out of state before this). Our neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. There are many school aged children who live in the neighborhood and we have becomes friends with their parents. Our kids go to the public school system here and we have nothing but GREAT things to say about it. It's diverse, welcoming and they do a great job with teaching the children. Our kids love going to school here. We also love Springbrook Nature Center and being so close to NE Minneapolis and Downtown. Overall, I say this is a very good, affordable little town that not many people know about.
I love the proximity to the cities while still being able to feel like my neighbor isn't right outside my window. Fridley is very well located for just about anything you'd like to do and a short commute into the cities, north, east, or west. Several lakes nearby with beaches as well, always a plus in the summer!
