I love this town. The data shared through Niche.com isn't accurate related to diversity. This town literally may have a maximum of 10 people of color... out of 1,300 residents...living here. Thats far from a B rating ...I'd say thats closer to a D- maybe even an F rating. Taxes are extremely high which could be the reason for the lack of diversity.
I grew up in Frenchtown, and the experience has not been the greatest. The school's here aren't great, I actually ended up going to school out of district to get a better education. For a blue state like New Jersey, the town is also quite conservative.
I love my my neighbourhood. It's small enough that it feels very homey, but it's big enough to always have something to do! Not to mention, everything is close enough to get to in a reasonable amount of time.
Fun little charming town where everyone is very nice and friendly. They have everything you need for a fun weekend being situated right on the Delaware river.
Frenchtown is a nice and pretty town with a very quaint and pleasurable Main Street. It is right next to the Delaware River, and as a result is a beautiful place to bike and walk.
I like the small-town vibe to it. Frenchtown has all the amenities one needs in the surrounding areas. With a location about an hour away from NYC and many other places, it's a great place to live.
We have been very happy in our home and this community. Love living along the river.
