The Fremont of today is nowhere near as appealing as it was even 10 years ago. It was overdeveloped, and the traffic now is awful. The city of Fremont leaders sold out to developers. Fremont still has some good qualities, but overall it's not that good anymore. The population diversity Fremont once has changed a lot. I'm all for diversity, but the Fremont of today is mostly Indians. Fremont is also very expensive. A little fixer upper home will sell for $700k+. No thanks! It was nice at one time, but those days are long gone. Oh, and there's way more homeless living on the streets of Fremont than at any other time.

Even though Fremont is a very safe environment, there is not much to do. The closest mall is in the next city and there is nothing for a young person to do. The Block at Pacific Commons ha been further developing over the last years to give teens a place to hang out. The community is diverse and not diverse at the same time. however because the area is so nice and relatively cheap, many people employed in Silicon Valley and San Francisco are migrating to this suburb. There are a lot of condos and apartment complexes erecting all over the city. Fremont Unified School district has no equal!
I have lived in Fremont, CA for over 2 years now in the Ardenwood area and I love this place. Our neighborhood is quiet with a lot of families and our neighbors pretty much keep to themselves. Everyday you see families walking with each other or with their dogs and even going for a run.
Not too far from my house is a few shopping centers which is very convenient because other than taking your car you can even ride a bike or walk. The shopping plaza offers grocery stores, restaurants, retail stores, nail salons, you name it they have it! Not too far we have schools as well as learning centers.
I have never had any issues or come across with anyone who's had a bad experience with anyone so I feel really safe. All in all Fremont is a great place to live.
