Fredenberg Township Reviews

This is a delightful waterfront-residential community. Fredenberg may very well have the most waterfront property of any Minnesota township. You will enjoy the rural life with many great lakes and rivers including two very large lakes; Island Lake and Fish Lake. Outdoor activities abound year round; boating, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and many other activities. I have found the people are friendly and helpful. IMHO Fredenberg has the best fire and emergency medical system in the area with an extraordinary number of highly trained medical personnel. A huge benefit of Fredenberg is that it is located just 20 minutes from Duluth but still offers superb waterfront - rural living. Fredenberg schools are provided by the Hermantown district which IMHO exceeds the quality of other area school systems including Duluth. Many Fredenberg residents are retired which is great because they have the time to be able to fully enjoy all Fredenberg has to offer!

Very small town, where everyone knows everyone. To neighbors are always very welcomed. The volunteer fire department is always quick to the scene, and put smoke detectors up, for those who can't on their own.
