Franklin Township Reviews
Crime and safety in my area is excellent. I always feel safe where I live. There is rarely break-ins or burglaries. There's not many abandoned houses or buildings. Since I live in the country, everyone keeps their yards freshly cut. The security is excellent, police do a wonderful job of keeping the area safe. More towards the city of Mansfield is where the crime rate goes up.
I loved growing up where I live. My address states that I live in the Mansfield area of OH, but I live out in the country. I love living in the country, it's so nice and private. There is still a sense of community, even though I don't live in a big city. A few aspects that I love about where I live would be being able to have cookouts in my backyard, bonfires, swimming in neighbors ponds, taking walks in the woods, and just doing outdoor activities that you wouldn't be able to do while living in the city. The city of Ontario/Mansfield is where I go out and about, it's only about 10 minutes from my house. There are always new businesses opening up, new people moving to the area, and a lot of employment to choose from. I always feel safe in my community, and the locals are usually very nice. There are tons of schools to choose from, different Christian schools, public schools, and private schools. Bottom line is, I love living here and I think I have the best of both worlds.
The bugs are annoying, but overall the area is great.
