I loved growing up in Franklin because it was a small town where everywhere I went I knew someone. That was great when you could always find a familiar face. The size also meant there was only one school system so I was never separated from my friends. There is a huge sense on community here where everyone does there part and always helps out. I think the only thing I would change is to have a movie theater and a mall a little closer. But even as is those are only 20 minutes away. Its also only 45 minutes from Nashville, TN so that was a great bonus. Overall a great little town!

It's a close knit small town that when you see a downtown square. It has low crime with great neighborhoods to raise children. The schools are good but could be better about diversity. The high school is like a college campus with huge football emphasis. The town even has a Homecoming football parade. Everyone is friendly for the most part it you like small towns. The economy is more based on manufacturing and farming . It's less opportunity for anyone looking for a career path job.
It needs more for the children to stay busy in a safe environment. It's ok to raise a family if you want multi diversity with a school district that are partial to sports the most.
