Wonderful area. Very safe, diverse, and calming. Great public school district, and good opportunities for student age people to get involved in the community
Review Franklin Park
Family friendly area of the north hills of Pittsburgh. Safe, traffic free, and easy access to the major highways, allowing for a short 12 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh
There are a lot of businesses in my area. Ross Park mall contains a lot of retail stores and many people travel to Pittsburgh to shop there. There are a few mom-and-pop shops in my area but there are many in a town named Sewickley near me. All of the businesses, both mom-and-pop shops and retail, seem to do well. Some of the most popular stores include the Apple Store, Pink, Nordstrom, Sesame Inn, Chipotle, Whole Foods, Soergel's Orchards and Giant Eagle. The demography of the area is mainly middle to upper middle class families of vast ethnicities. With the proper advertising, I believe an aspiring business would do well in my area.
