This is an example of the limitations of this website. Franklin Far is not a town or a genuine community. It is a housing development that was built so as to include a genuinely good trail system and enough strip malls to make sure the soccer moms can always hit the grocery store in between errands. Yes, schools are good, crime is minimal, and there are lots of families. But you're deep in suburban sprawl, far from anything cultural or historic, and not an easy commute to the city. Plenty of people are fine with that. Are you?

Franklin Farms is a great place for families. The schools that children attend are some of the best with hard working teachers who are dedicated to seeing children succeed. The neighborhood is family friendly and has many playgrounds and recreationally facilities available to all residents. There are wonderful paths that travel around the beautifully landscaped community that are constantly buzzing with walkers, joggers and bikers. The location is great as it is very close to many shopping locations, including Tysons corner, Fair oaks, and Fair lakes. It is close to many major highways and just a short distance from Dulles airport and Regan airport.
A typical bedroom community with top-rated K-8 public schools and outstanding private one (Nysmith). It is a great community to raise younger children, but don't expect any grown-up friendly fun unless you go to Reston Town Center to the northeast or Ashburn to the northwest.
