Fountain Valley is a good place to grow up and raise a family. It is surrounded by bigger, more populated cities such as Huntington Beach, Irvine, Westminster, etc. Although Fountain Valley itself doesn't have many events besides those held in mile square park during the holidays, there is always something to do within a 10 minute drive. The people around town are kind and friendly. The most prominent races are white and asian. The biggest concern would be the affordability to live there. Because it is such a nice place to take residence, it is very costly. Houses in Fountain Valley mostly range from $600,000 to $1,300,000. If you are looking for a place to raise a family in socal and have the means to do so, Fountain Valley is a great option.

Fountain Valley is a fairly safe community that is well kept. Something that I appreciate about FV is that there is never trash on the ground! The residents are very good about littering, and it is a rare occasion to see trash on the road.
I believe that Fountain Valley is a city that encompasses many things. It is within an amazing location, has excellent cultural influence (i.e., Vietnamese), and a family friendly environment. I recently attended a farmer's market and concert in the main park of this city. At this event, I felt such a sense of community with the large crowd of families sitting in their lawn chairs and on blankets. Many of the children were dancing to the music along with their parents and it truly warmed my heart. I felt as thought I personally wanted to raise a family in this community in the future as well.
