Fountain Valley is a good place to grow up and raise a family. It is surrounded by bigger, more populated cities such as Huntington Beach, Irvine, Westminster, etc. Although Fountain Valley itself doesn't have many events besides those held in mile square park during the holidays, there is always something to do within a 10 minute drive. The people around town are kind and friendly. The most prominent races are white and asian. The biggest concern would be the affordability to live there. Because it is such a nice place to take residence, it is very costly. Houses in Fountain Valley mostly range from $600,000 to $1,300,000. If you are looking for a place to raise a family in socal and have the means to do so, Fountain Valley is a great option.

I have lived in Fountain Valley my whole life and it is safe to say that it is "A Nice Place to Live". That is the city slogan. The school systems here have always been so beneficial to students, always getting the latest resources for better education. The people here are very friendly. It's such a great location to live in because it's not too far from Irvine or Anaheim. I've never had an issue with my hometown. What I love the most about living in FV is that I feel safe. I can walk, bike, or drive anywhere without having the thought in the back of my mind that I might be robbed, or attacked.
Fountain Valley is such a safe city! We have access to such great malls, restaurants and we’re also only 15 minutes away from Huntington Beach.
