Fort Washington Reviews
Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, is a historic, quaint community. The proximity of the history-filled Hope Lodge and Mather Hill sites along with the Fort Washington State Park is ideal. I frequently visit the park with my family at least once a month. It is always full of friendly people who are always willing to go out of their way to be kind to one another. Even George Washington thought it was terrific when he set up camp in the park with his troops in 1777!
Fort Washington is a beautiful environmentally-friendly suburb with people from different areas, states and countries. Most people know each other in some way but it is populated. It is new and old, with historical landmarks and diversity of houses. People here are friendly and accepting of all backgrounds, etc. There are lots of activities to do for all ages and often even our township building organizes events. Parents have many schools and school districts to choose from. Each education is a little bit different but all allow for growth and development. Although there are many wealthy families here, the less fortunate have access to great education. People here feel good about participating in service. I feel safe here, knowing there is a fire station and police station that teaches safety to the elementary schools, police always on patrol, fire and safety expos open for the public and local emergency services.
The community of Fort Washington is incredibly welcoming and gracious to people of all religions and ethnicities. There are currently signs up around town with the caption "A great place to live, work and worship" I couldent agree more, there is no Philly suburb like Fort Washington; great people, great schools and high regard for safety and community.
