Fort Scott Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 24 reviews
I actually love the small-town nature of Fort Scott for the most part. Who knew Kansas could be so nice to live in? The location itself is decent, I would prefer if we were 30 minutes north, closer to Kansas City, but people here don't mind driving that much. Great place to grow up but I'm not sure if it's a great place to live your whole life.
I moved to Fort Scott about a year ago, from a very large city. I have to say, I absolutely LOVE this little town. I haven't had a difficult time fitting in, in fact, everyone has been super friendly. I love that there are is NO traffic, and I can walk to most places. They have a team of people that are trying to improve and build the town, so although there isn't a ton of shopping opportunities in town, KC is only an hour away, and I know there will be growth coming soon.
Fort Scott is a quaint rural town. I love the history and the family atmosphere. I have only lived here for three years but feel right at home!
