Sibley is am extremely small town located about 40 minutes east of downtown Kansas City. While considered part of the Kansas City metropolitan area, I live a rural life style. This is wonderful because my family and I have access to immaculate options in health care, entertainment, dining, shopping, etc. but still are able to reside comfortably outside the city limits. I've lived in this area all of my life so the 'burden' of driving 20 minutes to get to any city, therefore marketplaces, really does not seem like a burden at all. I would highly recommend small town Missouri to any and everyone!

When one chooses where to live, you take on the factors of crime. Choosing to live in the country, one has to accept the fact that police are not always around. In the town of SIbley, there is no police station. But when there is an incident where police are needed, they are there in a matter of minutes. Being in the country we have our fair share of vehicle abductions. There is not murders or gun violence. Living in a small country town, everyone looks out for one another. We all dont have to associate with each other or even be friends, but we are all a small town family looking our for each other.
This area is an amazing placeto live. It is on of the few places you are able to walk the streets without having to worry about getting kidnapped. The neighbors are friendly and protective of one another. I do plan on moving back to this area in the future after my schooling. This is an amazing place to live. Although I do not see a huge future for this area mainly because one new neighbor would like this area to become apart of the city of Buckner Missouri. Also, they have become rude to the others around them.
