Fort Collins is a beautiful, high energy, and accommodating city. There is great public transportation across the entire city. More restaurants then anyone could imagine with a vast diversity in the choices. Fantastic night life in the down town area with many locally owned shops and boutiques. Hiking trails and camping get-away just fifteen minutes from the city in the gorgeous Horse-tooth Reservoir! It has been a very fun five years of living in this city. Definitely a place where I would strongly consider retiring!

Fort Collins is the epitome of city life meeting mountain town. Being from an urban setting, I was hesitant to move here, worrying I would miss the city too much. However, going to old town makes me feel like I am back in a downtown area. There is great nightlife, great restaurants, even a Mary's Mountain Cookies that serves edible cookie dough! When you have had your fill of downtown, you can easily retreat to nature. Horsetooth mountain and reservoir are many students' favorite place to relax, enjoy nature, and forget about academics for a little bit. I love this city and I will never leave.
Fort Collins is an excellent town. Located just an hour north of Denver, it has a population of around 150,000. To the west lies Horsetooth Resevoir, a beautiful lake where people can swim, boat, hike, and more. It's a short drive up to the mountains, as well. Old Town Fort Collins has tons of great restaurants, and an excellent nightlife scene--there's something for everyone. Fort Collins also hosts some of the best breweries around: New Belgium Brewing Company, which is on its way to becoming a nationwide favorite, to name one. This city also has residents from all different backgrounds so no matter your age or the size of your family, Fort Collins is a great place to live. Colorado State University is also a great school with about 35,000 students, so there are plenty of opportunities for students and non-students to enjoy CSU events. Fort Collins is consistently ranked one of the best places to live in the U.S., and in my experience, this is definitely the case!
