Fort Atkinson Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 23 reviews
Fort Atkinson has a lovely community that is consistently ready to help, regardless of what is going on. The public schooling system, for the most part, has some of the most devoted and inspiring teachers that I've come across. However, another thing to consider is that Fort Atkinson is a predominantly white community, and as such may lack diversity or other cultural appreciation events and celebrations. Otherwise, Fort has a booming house market, and jobs wherever you look. Fort Atkinson is an amazing community, fit for practically everyone.
Has everything you need while still giving you the small-town feel. Affordable housing, plenty of parks, and everything is relatively maintained. There is a lot of manufacturing companies which creates plenty of job opportunities. The town is also located between Milwaukee and madision which makes it great for commuting.
I was born in Fort Atkinson and have lived there since. They have great options for schooling, especially elementary. I loved growing up in Fort and don't plan on leaving.
