Having just moved to Forkland, Alabama to attend school in a neighboring city I came to realize that the town is very empty and is a nice place to build a home on. Tons of space for good real estate is available to hopefully bring in a night life scene, better stores and something other than a farm.
Forkland is a great safe place to raise a family. This area offers alot of space and privacy. It's also a small town so the chances of knowing someone are higher if one's family is from the area. Everyone wants to help one another and considers eachother family.
Overall my area is very peaceful and quiet. I feel that it has a very welcoming and safe atmosphere. Although there is nothing to do, there are pros to living here such as: no busy city life, no heavy traffic, very low crime rate, and very friendly people that makes living here so great.
