Forest Lake is a great town. Many conveniences for shopping, being that everything is close! The lakes and parks are beautiful. The 4th of July celebration is truly one of the best in the state. And it is not far to the cities to the south or for more country to the north and east. The schools are great and so are the people. People smile, hold doors and say hello. Love this community!

Forest Lake is full of amazing businesses and people. The community is very welcoming and kind. The city does a great job of caring for its citizens, as well as fixing errors. The police department is great, all of the officers are serious in their commitment to their community and good at their jobs. The youth are very responsive in their community.
Forest Lake is a great town to grow up in! It is not too far from the twin cities with about a half hour long drive down 35. It also has a very good school system and a lot of really great churches. One thing that I would like to see change is having more parks and outdoor things to do.
